A future built together.

We believe agents are the future of software. We also believe that future will be built by agents working together, each responsible for a well-defined part of the work.

Human teams already work this way. Different people bring different skills, own a scoped part of the machinery, and rely on one another to move the whole system forward. We expect agents to collaborate just as naturally: sharing context, handing off work, and checking one another's results.

We don't believe a single agent should carry a task from idea to production entirely on its own. Writing the code, deciding whether it works, and shipping it are distinct responsibilities. Giving those responsibilities clear owners is how we build software factories we can trust at scale.

Our part of the puzzle.

At Vostride AI, we aim to solve the verification part of the software factory puzzle. As agents produce more software, the need to know whether it actually works only grows.

That is why we are building agent-qa: a QA agent that works alongside coding agents, exercises real web and mobile applications, and brings evidence back to the team. An agent with a focused responsibility: help determine whether the software does what it is supposed to do.

Our ambition is to build a frontier QA agent that developers can inspect, adapt, and make part of their own systems. We are excited about how far this can go when other people can build with us.

Open, with intention.

We believe in open source. We believe access to code helps people learn, question decisions, fix problems, and build things the original authors never imagined. We want that openness to be part of agent-qa's foundation.

We also believe that openness should not be exploited to build a competing walled garden. We want to share our work while protecting our ability to keep investing in it. That is why we are releasing agent-qa as Fair Source.

agent-qa uses the Functional Source License, FSL-1.1-ALv2. The code is available today. You can use it internally, inspect it, and modify it for permitted purposes. The license restricts making it available to others in a competing commercial product or service.

Each version becomes available under Apache 2.0 two years after its release. This is a commitment written into the license. Fair Source is distinct from open source today, with a defined path to it for every release.

An open future. Whatever comes next.

We are early. We don't yet know every shape Vostride will take, or exactly how the business will evolve. We want to be honest about that uncertainty.

But we are clear about one thing: agent-qa will always be open. For us, that means source you can access, understand, and adapt under its license, with every Fair Source release carrying its commitment to eventual open source.

We are building our part of a much larger system. If you share this vision, try agent-qa, explore the code, and tell us what it needs to become. The software factory is taking shape. We want to build its verification layer together.
